Products

Are your candles hand-poured?

Yes! Every Gold Snap candle is thoughtfully hand-poured in small batches in New South Wales, Australia, using our premium coconut soy wax blend and carefully selected fragrance oils.

What wax do you use?

Our candles are made using a premium coconut soy wax blend, chosen for its clean burn, excellent fragrance throw and smooth finish.

Our wax melts are made using a premium paraffin wax, selected to provide exceptional fragrance performance.

Are your products made in Australia?

Yes. Every Gold Snap product is handcrafted in New South Wales, Australia.

How long do your candles burn?

Approximate burn times are:

• Large Luxury Glass Candle: Approx. 80 hours

• Medium Signature Tin Candle: Approx. 28–30 hours

• Small Signature Tin Candle: Approx. 15–18 hours

Burn times may vary depending on the environment and how the candle is cared for.

Why does my candle look slightly different from the photos?

Every Gold Snap product is handcrafted in small batches, so slight variations in colour, finish, frosting or fragrance strength may naturally occur. These variations are part of the handmade process and do not affect the quality or performance of your candle.

How do I choose a fragrance?

Choosing a fragrance is a personal experience, and everyone has different preferences.

If you're new to The Gold Snap, we recommend choosing fragrances that you already enjoy in perfumes, home fragrances or everyday products. Our product descriptions are designed to help you find the perfect fragrance for your home.

Why can't I smell the fragrance before purchasing?

As an online business, we understand that choosing a fragrance without smelling it first can be difficult.

We're continually expanding our fragrance descriptions to help you shop with confidence and choose a fragrance you'll love.

Orders & Shipping

How long will it take to process my order?

As each product is thoughtfully handcrafted, please allow 5–10 business days for your order to be prepared and dispatched.

During busy periods, product launches or sales events, processing times may be slightly longer.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free standard shipping Australia-wide on orders over $100 AUD.

Shipping costs for orders under $100 AUD are calculated at checkout.

Do you offer local pickup?

Where available, local pickup can be selected during checkout.

We'll contact you once your order is ready to arrange collection.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, The Gold Snap ships within Australia only.

Returns & Refunds

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of our handcrafted products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We'll work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Candle & Wax Melt Care

Why is my candle tunnelling?

Tunnelling usually occurs when the candle isn't allowed to create a full melt pool during the first burn.

For the best performance, allow the wax to melt as close to the edge of the vessel as possible before extinguishing the flame.

Why should I trim my candle wick?

Trimming the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn helps promote:

• A cleaner burn

• Better fragrance throw

• Less soot and smoke

• A longer-lasting candle

At this time, we do not offer custom or personalised candles.
