Why I Started The Gold Snap

There’s something special about lighting a candle at the end of a long day. It changes the mood of a room instantly — making a home feel warm, relaxing, and comforting.

That’s exactly why I started The Gold Snap.

What began as a simple love for candles quickly turned into a passion for creating high-quality handmade soy candles that people could genuinely enjoy in their everyday lives. I wanted to create candles that not only smelled amazing, but also looked beautiful in any space.

Every candle at The Gold Snap is hand-poured with care using soy wax and carefully selected fragrance oils. From sweet scents like Marshmallow and Fairy Floss to fresh favourites like Coconut Lime and Lavender, each fragrance is chosen to create a cosy atmosphere and help turn ordinary moments into something special.

One of my favourite parts of running The Gold Snap is seeing customers excited about their orders and hearing which fragrances become their favourites. It means so much knowing something handmade can become part of someone’s home, gift, or daily routine.

As the business continues to grow, I’m excited to keep improving our candles, packaging, and overall experience for customers. There’s a lot more to come, and this is only the beginning.
