-
Keep candles away from drafts, fans, curtains, bedding, paper, and other flammable materials.

Wick Care
-
Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before every burn.

Remove any wick trimmings, matches, or debris from the wax before lighting.
-
A properly trimmed wick helps prevent:
-
Excessive flame height
-
Smoking or soot
-
Uneven burning
-
Overheating
-
First Burn Matters
To help prevent tunnelling:
-
Allow the wax melt pool to reach close to the edge of the container on the first burn.
-
This usually takes between 2–4 hours depending on candle size.
-
Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
While Burning
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Never move a candle while hot or lit.
-
Keep candles at least 10cm apart when burning multiple candles.
-
Stop use when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the container.
-
Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too large, flickers excessively, or produces smoke.
Extinguishing Your Candle
-
Use a candle snuffer where possible.
-
Avoid blowing aggressively as hot wax may splatter.
-
Ensure the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the room.
Glass/Metal Container Warning
Candle containers may become hot during use.
-
Allow the candle to cool completely before touching or moving.
-
Do not use if the container is cracked, chipped, or damaged.
-
Never place a hot candle directly onto cold or wet surfaces.
Storage
For best results:
-
Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
-
Avoid excessive heat exposure which may affect fragrance and wax appearance.
